Blister Packs come in all shapes, sizes, markets and applications. Blister Packs are also a type of vacuum formed pack. They are generally a component of a bigger pack and work in conjunction with another medium such as card or cardboard. These two components of cardboard and vacuum formed polypropylene (blister pack) can provide very effective protective qualities as well as pleasing aesthetic treatments. The blister pack is a very thin plastic pack, usually transparent and co-designed to showcase the pack contents. The smaller sized packs are more often than not designed for rack display and the transparent vacuum formed container houses the contents. The cardboard generally displays the graphics and attaches to the display shelf hook. Design wise there is pack design (that is the form or shape) and the cardboard shape and die-cut as well as the graphics. It includes everything from confectionery, to pet food, to automotive accessories and hardware items.
